4 - A brief penguin update!

I’m not sure this is my most clearly spoken blog! It’s a very short update on the penguins where I get in a little bit of a flap over whether Romeo is a boy or a girl.

3- PenguinWatch - Meet Snowdrop and Romeo - King Penguins

I have two special guests for the blog this week. The video got a bit longer than the previous ones but I couldn't decide on cutting anything. Enjoy!

2. Cape Pembroke - The eastern most point of the Falkland Islands

This weekends day out was to Cape Pembroke lighthouse. You pick up the (heavy!) key from the museum and let yourself in. I was surprised that only 10 or so people had borrowed the key in the last month so needn't have worried about someone else having borrowed it. Unfortunately it wasn't possible to stand out on the balcony.

It reminded me a bit of Dungeness although there are far less buildings and power stations.

Hello everybody. My name is Mr Ross and I have made you a short video to introduce myself. There are also a few pictures below. I look forward to meeting you in September.

Orkney has 20,000 people but is much smaller than the Falkland Islands.
